Phoenix

A road trip to visit my cousin Cody who lived in Phoenix. Cody booked a sweet BnB with a pool that bordered up to a lake in Phoenix.

Upon arrival after an 8 hour drive (started in Albuquerque), we learned the pool was broken and the lake was drained.

That wasn't going to stop our vacation-mode selves from indulging. Against better judgement, we used the pool anyways. Repair man go there a few hours later and fixed it. Then the refrigerator went out. This was when the night took a turn and my cousin started being an ass to the BnB host.

Long story, short: we got kicked out. Cody found us a nice hotel in downtown Tempe next to ASU with a rooftop bar. It wasn't all bad. Watched a man hunt go through downtown with helicopters. He got caught.

Ate at Snooze Eatery for the first time. I'll never forget their breakfast pot pie.
