Denver

XNA had just opened direct Delta flights to Denver and the stars aligned Post Malone and Amber's Birthday. It was my first "adult" trip booked solely on my own. Amber and I's first flights as a couple too.

Because it was our first couple trip, there were scary unexperienced moments. Airports, trains, hotels... This was stuff my parents had to worry about.

We celebrated Amber's birthday on Dickson the night before and that's when I told her where we were going. We made it from XNA to Denver, we made it from DEN to the Union Station, and we made it (walking) to our hotel up the road with our bags. Super success.

We dropped the bags and headed for food where we found the next fun adventure: Scooters. Lime scooters were just making a splash. We found a couple and headed for food: Sam's No. 3. If it's good enough for Guy Fieri, it's good enough for us. We proceeded by fumbling around the Uber app en route to the Denver Zoo before finally back at the hotel prepping for an unforgettable Post Malone concert.

In a truly magical fashion, the following morning Denver got it's first snow as we were prepping to head back to the airport. But, back on the plane and back to NWA safe and sound. This one set the tone for many more trips to come!
